Home In Solitude (Lyric) by Sam
You speak of silence as though silence speaks for its self With lucid eloquence, I can’t help myself but melt. All your muted words sink me into a void so deep I keep losing hold; my soul is falling down a cliff. Your prairies whisper, your solitude deafens my being Gentle as a Zephyr, softer than the clouds navigating Exploring my abyss reaching into my fantasy door Like a quenching mist perching in a thirsting flower. Communing stars shoots their brilliance into my spirit My aching scars were healed of its lover’s deficit. This darkened heart was illuminated to elation strange Logic to reason departs as salvation offers its refuge. You talk in verse of sense and wisdom so appealing Joy and sorrow coerced into a limbo of hope transcending, Into a higher ground where everything is a beatitude It’s homeward bound come take me to your solitude.
