GAMES (Lyric) by candaliesa
Why do you play? Why can't you be real? Is it that hard for you to feel? Do you like making people cry? Leaving them asking themselves why? Why did "he" do it, why did "he" lie? Couldn't he at least given us a try? Was I not good enough for him? Am I too fat, or maybe too thin? You tell them what they want to hear, Make them believe, there is nothing to fear. Before they know it they are in love, And that is when you start to push and shove. Pushing them, out of your life, Cutting their hearts out with a knife. You do not love them, it was all a game, What else could they do, but hang their heads in shame. Maybe one cries herself to sleep, The thought of you makes her weep. Because she loved you with all her heart, You gave her each day a new reason to start. Are you thinking of her as you read this? Is she now someone you miss? Or is she right in front of you? Will you then decide the game through? No more lies, no more pain, All you have is love to gain. Look in her eyes and you will see, There's no place she'd rather be. No matter were you are, Her love will always go that far. You put a smile on her face, No man could ever take your place. Try as they will, try as they might, But they will never win the fight. Because she is yours through thick and thin, She'll always be there when the day comes to an end. Because she loves you!
