mountain creek (Free verse) by brazen
rippling across the water moon light caressing waves reality drifts to subconscious at the doorstep of a maze and I would but ask the world for just a moment more in an hourglass prison of sweating flesh so pure if only to concede morality in its right swiftly stealing whispers beneath the sheets tonight. this ordeal is my Heel stabbed by a wistful bow it brings me to my knees the one weakness I know mind a poisoned playground brimming a lack of composure from succumbing so sinfully and releasing all disclosure about a disease spreading ravaging my free will lies secret in the shadows truths too dense to spill. to gaze upon tomorrow is to see beyond a tale an unwritten treatment a ship not yet to sail.
