As I the Heart of a Fly (Free verse) by Voth269
Thoughts of time,
Betrayal of friends,
Brings forth a love of the world to an end.
Tears screamed,
Cares died,
For I have come,
As I the heart of a fly.
Cares of not,
Do not contain it,
Yet still we seek it,
As I the heart of a fly.
I watch them wander,
And from time to time find,
Seeking the unseekable,
As I the heart of a fly.
People question me,
Prosecute me because I am different,
As I the heart of a fly.
I have seen those who have fallen,
From the nurturing wing of their family.
They lash out at me,
In anger and in fear,
As I the heart of a fly.
People I meet,
Have never really met me,
Just one side of me,
As I the heart of a fly.
