Waiting On A Friend (Free verse) by Yatasuma
Those three blinking lights Those three annoying fucking blinking lights Why won’t you connect to me? One more blink and they should go wild But they sit there blinking and laughing at me I can’t help but stare and curse the world in my head I really need to cut my hair Well shit, they all went out Now they’re blinking again, 1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3 Okay, now they won’t even go to three They’re stagnant on 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2 Oh Sweet Child O’ Mine Yeah I know it’s unplugged you damned moron Back to three, three, three and no more I can’t believe I left it burning while I was gone You’ll start a fire, I know, stop telling me I’ve plugged and unplugged four times now I’ve looked at the number but I’m just too damn lazy I swear to god it’s going out the window CONNECT TO ME YOU ASSHOLE! I’ll get cancer, but you know, I really don’t care It’s a waste of money. You’re killing your friends Back in the day, you’d never have to do this You didn’t even have to plug a typewriter in Just click click click and it did what you need I bet those chips are stale…. who cares I’m hungry Don’t eat the green ones, they’re bad AND THE CROWD GOES WILD! I can finally look at naked women and argue again
