My Guardian Angel (Limerick) by ramtheman1
For my mother, Brenda Lee Lindgren I know not the way I feel, That's why it's so hard to deal. For in my heart it's so extremely real. Someday I'll try to realize That my heart isn't actually paralyzed, For the blood still flows, And there haven't been any blows. It's a real puzzle, For my aching head needs a muzzle. I know my mom's in the heavens above, Watching over us all with lots of love. She's a wonderful dove in the skies above, Sharing her love as best as she knows how-- Through each and every person That she's touched so tenderly, For now her spirit is free, don't you see? We can tell she's back, 'Cause she's keeping us on the right track, So there's no need to look back. Katherine Lee Jensen Copyright ©2003 Kathy Jensen
