My plea for fair voting. (Free verse) by LuckyJoe
Why must you give chase, With your discriminating pace, Racing in without care, To judge without reading, Hard up, filled with hate. A lovely zero my gift from you. What is your reason sir? Could you easy my mind, Be so kind as to tell me why. Each new piece you come to bless, Please no longer test my will, Come to me and converse, Relinquish what’s on your chest. This is my plea, You however will never see, Open your eyes for a moment, Read each line, Just one time is all I ask. I know not what I did, My actions have upset you, They were not in contempt, That I swear to you. Now asking your forgiveness. Tell me what I’ve done, Then it shall be made correct, If I was ill mannered, I’m man enough to admit, Will you allow an apology to fix?
