Wallet (Free verse) by Birdpia
It was hard to forget you,
Because you left me all the pains, that incurable
Time just passed so fast,
I could no more see your shadow around the park,
Instead memories were aching me,
Aching the wound that had no scar
That made me remember of your shining star
When my wallet went empty,
None of myself looked good to you,
You left me all alone,
Just like the withering flowers,
Which the insects ignored
When my wallet went empty,
I filled it with all my memories with you
Though it has no value to everyone else,
It was where I hid your odor, your love
When I picked up a wallet in the lonely park,
I remembered your innocent eyes over me,
You might want to say sorry,
But I would be grateful instead,
as you at least,
Had taught me a good lesson on how not be so plain
