Untitled (Free verse) by no1sangelz23
Your smile is malevolent. A sneer is permanently plastered on your lips. Your eyes take me to a place ventured by few, Your eyes- a piercing, gray slate. Gray eyes, with a trace of icy blue, Cold and impending, Unreadable to all, All but me. I see the hurt and pain That flash in your eyes when you think no one is around. The burden placed on your heart is evident When searched for in the depths of the pools of callous gray. You hide your feelings well. To you, feelings are a weakness. No one can see past the brick wall around your heart. If only they can see what I see when I look into your eyes.
