Over Head (Lyric) by hotwire
By Bily Foster
Why do you throw it in my face
that you bought me something in the first place
and I'm still paying for at my own pace
a pace you said
was fine at the beginning
now your worried
that I'm off sinning
I work late nights
and you keep buggin'
telling me how you miss
my kisses and huggin'
but forcing me to do things
just makes me think you should say
what your really wanted was slave
to sit and do it your way
are you trying to buy my love
cause that fits as well as OJ's glove
basically what I'm saying is that doesn't fit
your purchasing power with me is quits
I'll pay you back what I owe
but after that, you better know
I'll never be able to trust you again
I'm sick and tired of having to defend
I work hard
and do my best
but that's not good enough for you
I guess
I've been through this
before you see
and what happened then
the fool was forced to leave
I don't need people like you in my life
demanding respect it isn't right
You earn respect by trying to keep your word
dispite what others say or what you've heard
Other wise you'll end up alone
but the bright side is you'll still have your throne
Old and wishing you hadn't held it over my head
regretting our life is over, until your dead
You pushed and pushed for this relationship to start
now all your doing is pressuring my heart
Like your trying to make it burst
with all this stress I feel so cursed
Can't you back off and look at me
and get out of your own pity party
Look and see I've got problems too
but at least I'm doing what I do
I never know what to call you, friend or foe
At this point in our lives I just want to let go
But it's not my nature to leave
Which is why I'll bitch until you see
You say you think I'm unhappy
how can I be happy with the way you treat me
Relationships are about working together
not which one of us is the better
if you think this is a competition
then destroying you will have to be my mission
because it's not how much we make that counts
it's if we can survive the bouts
don't get me wrong I love your sole
but I think it's time we let go
I'll pay you off the debt I owe
I took it on for wanting someone to love me so
