Have you ever seen an Angel? Are you looking for white wings? If your searching for a halo These all could be wrong things For all around us they exsist We see them everyday We just dont pay attention To the roles our Angels play Sometimes disguised as loyal friends They often come with healing Touching our hearts with compassion Knowing our innermost feeling They often appear from nowhere To call on heaven's phone At times they're needed most When we're feeling all alone And what about the stranger Who smiled at you today Leaving a gift of joy As they went along their way The warmth it left inside Throughout this day will last If we share it with another As they go walking past What could be more heavenly Than a hug received today From a precious little angel Before thay ran to play Stopping only briefly As Angels often do To leave a peanut butter kiss And giggle" I love you" Angels come in many forms colors shapes and sizes As family,lovers, even friends They take on many disguises Do not always look towards heaven Not all Angels have heavenly birth Take time to look more closely To see the ones on earth Poetry by kassanna Kassanna's PoeticDreams copyright:2000
