Collapsing the heart (Free verse) by Sugar Victim
I wasn't looking for something like love although i do realize this situation is not unheard of we're really diffrent it's not hard to tell I like going to gay pride you worry about hell I tried to ignore it I tried to resist Tried to pretend like these feelings didn't exist but when i kiss you and run my fingertips along the curves of your face I can't help but ache for you warm embrace what do i do? I've been here before Last time I left with what i already knew i can't not want to touch you when we might be seen you can't be a shoulder to cry on when you've made me reluctant to lean when can I kiss you when can I not? one second you're cold ,the next hot It's not fair to myself to expect feelings to be returned and since we're not really together you don't even have to be concerned And it's not fair to you to be put in a situation you don't want It's not a relationship you want to flaunt We're very diffrent, its already clear doesn't seem we want any of the same things so why even get near? It's something about you the you you don't show I know you're afraid of another painful blow Just for the record, just so you know I'm afraid too I just can't leave But i don't want to be left behind still holding onto you pushed away only to greive
