Things I Will Never Do (Free verse) by jessicazee
Collect all fifty state’s new quarters Comb the silk of a corn’s cob Commit arson, commit fratricide, Because I have no brother Untie bootstraps Unite infection Unto a new world be born Unsay cruelties to dead friends Unhook brassieres one-handed Unwire the Internet Uninvite the holiday guests Unhand the able Undo what has been done Unpin myself from under a wrestler Uncreate what I have made, Pop balloons in spite, spit on a new walkway. Hurt you. Step on spiders. Be afraid.
