In the hushing silence... (Other) by <{Baba^Yaga}>
A gnarled lemon tree and gardenias. The hammock swing toward soft warm rays. Fire ants and jealous lovers sting. Calomine lotion days meant for portable radios. One boy being pushed at merry go round. Another at a chain link fence waiting. Japanese beatles jarred up smell musky. So I let myself let them go. Alligator lizards and black widows for study. A soccer ball pounds the side of a house. Off in the distance. In the hushing silence.
