Sing to the Past (Lyric) by marvelis
Sing to the past.
You can kiss my glass.
In honor of the times,
I'm jotting down these rhymes.
Those years filled with distress.
Now overshadowed by final success.
Now that I am top of the class
I will even say God does bless.
With no further adieu, welcome to my life!
Which is now finally living up to its hype.
It is now oh so very gracious;
Makes the critics oh so jealous.
Finally running with the ball
And it is time to rock and roll.
Snatched it right from the doubter's hand
With talent and anger all up in a blend.
Finally I see the extent of my manifest destiny -
I'm about to leave you people with a hell of a legacy.
The past has come and gone.
Toward conquest I now run.
Merciless I will be toward those in my way
For they will not ever see another day.
The world is mine for the taking;
It is time for me to become its king.
The world will be mine,
For the rest of time.
When my time is gone I will reside
In my rightful place, right beside
Men like Alexander the Great
And France's Louis the Eighth.
