"E-V-O-L" (Free verse) by seven
âE-V-O-Lâ
What is love?
So sweet yet difficult
Life Saver, Life Taker
Love, Love, Love
It is like the first breath of a new born
Your heart melts like butter, inside you popin like popcorn
E-V-O-L
So misused
Can be a tool, but itâs abused in the hands of a fool
It is amazing to see the ones who try to escape the raft of cupidâs
draft
When she aims with her arrow, her eyes are on the sparrow, which is your
heart
Love is so confusing it will leave you pickin and chosen between right
and wrong
Sitting in the dark playing the same old song
Love to me may very well be different from love to you
Love to me is like the sky
When it rains those are the teardrops fallin from my eye
The clouds float like my emotions move
What is love?
Love to me is that smooth swagger that can turn around and be the
dagger
Simply because it looks so gorgeous
Love to me is that unique smell, which sounds of a bell, heaven or hell,
I just cannot tell
Nevertheless, I do not want to fail, because it hurts so bad
This has to be the one
Love to you may consist of the mist that floats in the morning breeze
Your atmosphere may be empty but love is that shooting star
The moon that glows when the sun does not show
The misconception, can lead to a reception after you say the words âI
doâ when you really know you donât
Love, Love, Love
Some people may call me stupid because I love, love
In addition, love has the power to devour all common sense
Leaving others to believe I am in the sixth sense
If it donât make dollars it donât make sense
A thousand pennies is worth ten dollars
It may not make me pop my collar but for some ladies thatâs enough to
make them holler
That aint love
Love, Love, Love
Makes me form illusions, which brings me to the conclusion that love can
be everything and everything can be loved
Still I ask the question what is love
