Man In A Street (Free verse) by kalikopeli
"If I had a canvas, I would paint it blue 'cause blue is the best color that reminds me of you. If I had a mattress, I would lean it against the wall 'cause nobody's sleeping here just memories of a lover six feet tall. If I had a cigerrette, I would light it with a match 'cause the flicker burns brightly red, like strawberries in a patch. If I had a pencil, I'd crossout your name, 'cause your name is abusive, rude and it plays these games.", said the drunk man in a corner of a bulevard across the street. And I think to myself never take too seriously nor neglect, the feelings of a man you've listened to, yet never met.
