we didn't understand the sinister intentions of the parish priest when he volunteered to change the diapers of all the young men in the village if this were the late twentieth century he might have derived no uncertain pleasure from a website, maybe but it's 1923 and we live in Italy so no one dared to say a word to the Cardinal Now our shame is manifest and real and the implications are stunning especially if you believe in a trinity when I offered to substitute altar girls for boys I was exorcised, excommunicated and shunned, shut out of my heavenly host now my wife and I wander the barren wastes and curse the parish priest and his strange lusts
