The Astronaut in Trouble (Free verse) by Fear of Garbage
I am not an Astronaut. But Oh God I wish I were. I have all the air I need to breathe right here on Earth. Oh God I wish I didn?t. Somewhere sometimes I think someone may be breathing, But I wish they wouldn?t. I wish you wouldn?t. You are taking up my Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, you are taking up my arrogance. My arrogance, My trouble, Oh God I am in trouble. Water is the same as air and air Is the same as land, the land is where I lay, My drug, my beauty of choice, my Oxygen, the drug. I am no Astronaut. I am no Astronaut. Oh God, Thanksgivings for the drug.
