Sleep of Death (Free verse) by necroscope7
When darkness from the moon does flow And day does turn to fright It is time to hide your eyes And scurry from the night Time has stopped yet things still creep Upon the witching hour Soon you'll be theirs if you're still out When the night their eyes do scour Creatures evil, unimaginable come to life They haunt your mind and your dreams But they're not content with stealing sleep They not stop til they have your screams Run as you can, run as you may They'll soon be upon you, no matter Then you awake, and look to the sun And all the nightmare beings shatter
