Marzipan (Free verse) by darby pyn
Steal everything. greed stare, motionless position, concrete conviction. one cross, one stain, one mouth. sponge to faith guided direction eats the individual erases retrospection. war dangled rosary hides behind vanity driven insecurity. tender touch sighns autograph photographs sold for ransom. commodity depth reassures, takes for granted and sleeps soundly. eyes in back of my head face to face I'm vulnerable.
