flying home (Free verse) by daniella
Gathering on the wing where windsheer takes me, the frost thins. From these holes I sense the distance and know the hour arrives. Her head resting in my lap, I hope to stroke her thoughts and take them with me when I return. Upon that wing, I wish to send her. Into a horizon better still, defined.
