Watching December's Wind (Free verse) by dclark
Sun shining at night,
When you're around,
Burning down my lifetime with your ideas,
Crowded inside the room we were born,
Bright light in winters time,
Painted sky of blue and white,
Old couples with coffee,
Young couples with me,
Pacing the city streets,
Waiting for your greeting,
Of the ghost that don't know their reflection,
No shadows on your soul,
Then the people with forgetful faces,
All the strangers I can't remember,
No voice for passengers in bodies,
Just the cold red cheeks and me,
Waiting for the season of love,
Wishing for something permanent,
Painted like porcelain,
and refreshing.
I'm always uncertain,
Even about my certain confusion,
I feel your presence,
Someday touch my hand,
and my heart.
we can become part of the pattern.
You've already entered the cycle.
