Coffee or Love (Free verse) by Nepanthe
An urgent message,
with a pretty visage:
"Drink Me"
Is it poison,
is it remedy?
These doubts vanish,
holding me to cherish.
A new coat of varnish,
over the tarnish.
The gleam of nostalgia!
The aroma of fresh brewed coffee...
"Drink Me"
Is it poison,
is it remedy?
The pulse races,
days leave traces,
scribble the remnants
onto a paper with a crayon.
Desperate for the days,
the cup's bottom bared.
An urgent message,
with a pretty visage.
Is it poison,
is it remedy?
