disregard (Free verse) by Skamper
your abandoned cancer hisses from existence it’s soggy end bobs and spins in a puddled rainbow and you - you aboard your silver bullet spin circles homing in on destination superiority seeps from every move you make mindless of your discard now adding to the mix the birds are drinking from streaky little feet paddle round in colours of kaleidescopic filth I hate your vacancy - you fail to feel the rain gathering dust in metalic polka-dots spotted over your new toy diagonally spitting in the open window darkening interior it falls equally mindless as your discard to stain and pucker gather into rivulets pool and soak I think - the neighbourly thing to do to wave shrug a little grimace wait for you to roll your eyes salute a thanks - acknowledge your front door slams the righness of my decision arms folded I watch the rain
