Left Myside (Free verse) by forsaken
Every morning before I wake up I hope the thing I'm holding tight Is you but sadly it's just a pillow I lately find myself grasping at night Gripping on to it like it can save my life Like it's possible some feathers could stop a knife I find myself sometimes giving it a little gentle kiss Like you do to a loved one when they're off to sleep making a wish Wondering if they know how beautiful they are when they're laying in bed Hoping they have only the sweetest dreams running through they're head Praying that you're in it and one day you can make them come true Well in my dreams I wake up beside of you What can I say that hasn't already been said How about my biggest fear the one thing I dread That maybe somehow I lose my eye sight Then never get to see you before I close my eyes at night Nor ever when I open them back up the next day I'm just still surpised you ever started looking my way Someone so beautiful so lovely have I ever mentioned the smell of your hair It's just to much to take almost more then I can bare Ever since that wonderful day what I was blessed with when we met I was hoping and praying that you would let Me have the chance to beable to tell you All the things I've been feeling and maybe you too Had some things to let me in on So before I end this letter just know I ain't no con Everything I say to you is how I really feel inside Nothing has mattered since you left myside
