Behind closed offices (Free verse) by lukehanney
His name is Mike and he works in computers He runs like clockwork and's a London commuter He's been working all day and working all night And his wife's run off on the postman's bike His best friend's Stan who works in IT They talk about golf by the coffee machine And while Stan's been busy with a wireless LAN His wife's run off in the postman's van And then there's Brian, the sector MD He's got a desk of his own and he drives a Z3 But while he's been sitting in his leather chair His wife's run off with the village mayor Simon's the man, he's the office joker He turns up late and he's a serial smoker But while he's browsing Facebook on the work's PC His wife's running off with the local GP The moral of this story as I hope that you can see Is that one should never work in computers or IT Spend your time at home and stay away from work For your passion with computers drives your darling wife berserk!
