sick (Free verse) by redleaffalling
take a sip
of my drink.
nights run down
the sink.
then you say-
let's go for the last mile.
red, spider-like shoes;
sleep around skinny feet.
prancing, skipping.
grip, rope-tight..
before slipping.
-crashing into your beginning.
life runs away
on the street at night;
where my mind floats
(to be)
to trace back forgotten steps.
help me-
wanting what i cannot have.
it's the green snake
and the silver ring.
they'll never come
so you're confused
because
you're so wasted--
come
come
take a sip
of my drink.
your life, like a drain..
begins at the sink.
