Subway moments (Lyric) by azntsarina
Drifting along the sidewalk And I nothing. Here I am A quintessence of autumn Like it's leaf, just separated from the stem. It's taste of chocolate bittersweet It's sound, the conductor's voice. Announcing stations on repeat. Submitting to today. The subway rolls and murrmurrs (yes, it plagues me yet again) And I see nothing but among the colours, The empty faces of these women and these men And leaving trains are companions, Not more, although they call my name And I pass faces on the wall These ones with their claim to fame And more and more of such Their smiles like unstable rain I wish at last pure winter'd come For only it can make all sane.
