Pretty Little Dead Thing (Lyric) by JAM
Pretty little dead thing Don't come around here no more Let the past be as it was I've already asked you this nicely before Pretty little dead thing Why can't you rest in peace And let me move onward with my life Please won't you let this madness cease Times have changed and so have I Since that dreadful day you were taken from me I asked myself Why so many times That the question no longer begged of necessity And since you've appeared on my front porch Six nights ago during this sweltering June I've taken to locking the windows and doors You just stand there naked under moon Pretty little dead thing Your cold lips don't utter a single word Yet I can sense you want me to take you back The message in your eyes is what I heard Pretty little dead thing It will never be the same as it was before Though beautiful still despite the scars I can't bring myself to open the front door Times have changed and so have you Your not the girl that occupied my heart of hearts For she was buried and remains six feet under While your just stitched together body parts I'm trying not to be rude, but you have to admit We are no longer a match, hardly compatible And the next girl I ask to be my fiancee Will in the very least have somewhat of a soul Pretty little dead thing I don't mean to cause you any more pain If you had any feelings, that is And any feeling registering in your brain Pretty little dead thing Can't you see that this wasn't meant to be? I don't know if I can explain it any better You're just no longer the girl for me Pretty little dead thing Such a lively little dead thing Life can be a deadly thing For a pretty little dead thing
