The Walker (Prose Poem) by ObsequiousGem
A restless soul am I as I walk the night, I take heart in the gift of my own sight, I watch the world pass me by, though I've never questioned why. Here I stand above you all, I wait, I see everything, each person's fate, I cannot ever stop you, never intervene, Words remain silent, of all that I've seen. I am invisible to each person's own eye, I am one of many talents, I can even fly, I'm impish in my ways, though I'm delightful, Not allowed to harm anything, or be spiteful. The world is my very own playground, This place is my treasure, it's what I found, though, I'll admit, each day lonely am I, but nothing is better than being the only spy.
