salvage (Free verse) by ay deee
i love taking things apart phonographs computers televisions blenders compact disc players electric space heaters speakers door closers land cameras toys boxes crates couches houses watches clocks alarms chairs desks lamps drills trucks i like to lay all the pieces out in a neat grid based shape and just look the problem can be very apparent with this clarity the first thing i remember taking apart: my parents' canon film camera i must have been quite young i could not fix it now i can fix all manner of things if i can't fix it i take the parts that look neat or may have another use screws brackets lenses and wires place them on their respective sheles and throw the shit away i have a hardware collection in pill boxes and tool chests my best friends are phillips screwdriver putty knife needle nose and hammer because while i immensely enjoy an ordered process that is reversible every once in a while a good sledge is the only way to process an appliance
