the truth about poets (Free verse) by New Life Drug
Poets are dandy, poets are great
Most of all, poets have hate
Some choose to write about moments in time,
While others depict society's grime
Most would be able to call beauty a wall
Were they dropped on their heads- when they were small?
Shall I go on once more about most poet's bore?
I dread their next line, which leads me to snore
Yet others thrive to keep readers alive!
Like "aids in a van", taking the dive!
Poets aren't dandy, poet's aren't great
Poets aren't worth more words I could say
So with this I end a poem quite rare,
But most poets who read this, probably won't care
