3 distinctively different attempts remembering one thing (Free verse) by <{Baba^Yaga}>
[Sappy] 5:30 pm. (A pub in Hamtramck. 'Detroit, Mi.') Sweet and sour sauce I think i hate my boss Gentle underhanded toss Pillows aren't mushrooms Blankets aren't moss My scale shows neither gain nor loss The friendly enemy's name was Ross All of my pockets inside out Here's some lint and a nice fat stem How long has it been since we ate trout? No more smoke No more phlegm I stopped the deal and sold my clout Was that all they cared about? I tried to rescue all of them I had to be their favorite gem I worried more about my peers Hey! Bring us one more round of beers! Isolation capped off fears I've never learnt from spent tears I took to heart their taunts and leers Living in between the fars and nears Why can't i fit into these pants? Custom tailored by the best Fueling my pace with raves and rants Take this please off of my chest I take my time with symbols and chants I am a parasite and you're a pest Stuck behind all the rest I should've waited for my turn But up my nose i kept the burn With my spurs i've learnt to spurn Low and high i missed the turn Into my arm i've stuck their horn Stress relieved, am i reborn? Grow the maize to praise the corn Off of my body clothes were torn I love my fix but hate their porn For myself I can not mourn Hanging up-side down-side blind-side Whose side am I on? Theirs or mine? Hers is fine Crooked broken misplaced line Out of sight Outta mind They are not Not my kind Away from them is where I'll find Who I was Who I am I owe this all to U_c_e S_m Tolerance before insolence Should've been my only friend because now I'm happy Sorry if this poem is sappy My third-lipped-leg has gotten flappy. [Maleficent] 2:01 am (the pub exit flexit, same town i think) Glass jawed electric eyed spiders Twisted colored words provider Fall upon us This car's hood is open cuss Rusted water pipes Hookers with pursed tripe Now comes the church's chorus right on cue the age of Horus born again anew the aeon transcends Regaining control has you at amends Rebuke Set's promises Ignore my mother's vibrant breasts Look never upon the wetness of her triangular delta In the wooden room you sweat stigmata No music incites You rely upon your false starlights Your roar has turned squeak Sheep, you have turned weak Off go this bar's lights Off i go fight "What are you looking at fucker?!" [Totalitarian] 5:30 am. (toilet hold pre-work jitters, and the honk outside) I remember spinning to the point of nausea In the clearing New moon hanging In the heavens Old moon panting from fatigue Gnarled trees You are possessed! And hauntingly familiar There are too many touching terror Staring at isolation Stalking freedom Yearning for fungus This movie contains violent material Which may not be suitable for children Parental discretion is advised. A tornado sprouts From my lucid attempts at concentration Pulling the world around me To keep me warm this winter Check the unemployment check The trees in my palm The splinters in my finger So why when it's over Must I still linger To dizzy too notice All of the animals watching I launch my accumulating debris To the heavens. 'For my father, love your son' 'And my lost brothers!' 'love your brother!' "i too am sorry for the time i spent spending my time. *selfish*" <jeremi britt handrinos> 28 <joshua nicholas handrinos> 25 <mathias alexis handrinos> 21 p.s drinks are on me. on the house. put your feet up!!
