All are welcomed. (Free verse) by darby pyn
Taste like insecurity. smells like sweat the salt mist perforate the
sweet of my tongue. why so vague. are the condescending words
around your thoughts too transparent to see there meaning
beyond interpretation. look past the obvious the answers are there
to be dissected and civilized. your personified perfection.
read the dictionary are you now enlightened does it make you
a better writer or just vane with the introspection that
builds arrogance from complexion and sounds so good
to the affirmation in your head. little girl lost, puts it to paper,
check the spelling. we kill the young and ask why?
be a metaphor use the medium blame the
dreams we have and never apologize.
sterile tips extended from palms anxious and seething.
crying, screaming, vent the curriculum braking bones. is pain the
only substitute for experience or can I live vicariously through you.
saturated in ego and pretense sheâs confused and
condemned to television.
