Internet Junkie (Free verse) by cuddlytiger17
Nothing more than An Internet Junkie Claiming oblivion As my refuge. Addicted to the pixels That dance before my eyes Forever craving one more minute Another instant to be lost Within such emptiness. Too diffident to delve Into the real world Finding solace amidst Infinite cyber-space. Feeding off the emissions Of those unknown: Serial killers, rapists, terrorists...? Pouring my heart out To such random people Whom at my discretion Forever disappear With the click of a button. And I call out to You: Security Net! so weakly strung I beg of you, Don’t fail me now! I live through your lifelessness And should you break, So shall I Cutting off, the weakest ties.
