At The End (Free verse) by lil_evil_boi
You watch the morning dawn, the evening dusk, the fiery sun and the cold blue moon. What you see is only a useless husk, the breeze feels warm in this hot afternoon. Everything’s strange on this last summer’s day, nothing’s right when I find you so sad. Standing by the window, you see the bay, time is flying by, you’re no longer glad. You’ve wished to be in the sky, like a dove, listen to the wind, the secretive call. You have learned to forgive, to trust, and love. Learned to live, to breathe, to stand straight and tall. Still, the tears twirled inside your gorgeous eyes, why had there been the never spoken lies? Still, the tears trickled down your gentle face, All will be fine in this forever race.
