Spirit In a Temple (Free verse) by peaceseeker
after knowing for one week,
this will end.
countdown to zero,
from eight days
of the knowledge.
to a day for both
reckoning and reveling,
in between both freedom and regret.
to one day become
free from regret,
both sides,
certainly not harmonizing. . .
until one day a level of
belated thoughtfulness,
rescinded illusions about physiology,
created from past experience,
shattered in an estimated 41 days,
hopes, dreams, ideas of the future,
not in a similar space,
brought no hope
for true peace within
where do you go?
steadily, i know
you will show me.
as i could not stop the spinning
in my head about Family.
and worse, your rejection of us,
makes me feel too well-known.
like my desire for my Baby.
your desire for the quo in status,
led us to this -
is that what it was?
inside my organ of life,
what i urged you to see,
two confusing circles,
a home we constructed.
not fit for a future.
you guess it worked.
i saw in the circles,
it was the wrong time.
now you want me to go out,
greasy hair, sweating all over
and bleeding profusely.
on platform heels, too high.
my virgin sister high on life,
helped me catch the rhythm,
mirrored my calm,
mixed with her joy.
