Irreversible (Free verse) by Caducus
She altered my face to Andre. Exerting power born from guilt, pulling at my hair as she came, screaming out her first-loves name. Spinning me in silk. Once her love faded I learned how to shine. My ego paraded and girls persuaded for a night to be mine. I would have died for her. Worn a thorn in my side for her. For every time she’d hold me. A little more she controlled me, till the victim of lies became what he despised. Praying to be told the reasons why, our love like the seasons came in to bloom, then would wither and die.
