sure did (Free verse) by FreeFormFixation
you peeled back my face to unveil me,
and, frankly, you saved me
as suffocation started to set in, you
failed me, but, dear god you
found me and seemed to
surround me in love while
the love could stay shallow.
Then drowned me, I thought
such a sound seemed so foreign,
erupting out of my own blue lips.
But just like a coma,
a dream can be empty
and seem to be simply
a chunk of lost time.
i peeled back your lips to release you,
you said that i teased you
too long before biting your tongue, then i
seized you, and, dear god i
creased you, your paper
facade seemed to fold, origami
on bone.
we clowned around in a round about
and soundly spiteful manner.
But just like a dream,
a coma can brim
over with rolling
ideas and distaste.
Sweet and simple love,
how i long for you again.
but time exists to mock these fits
of sentimental sentences.
