Versions (Free verse) by Dovina
STANDARD VERSION:
Adam knew Eve
and she conceived
EXPANDED VERSION:
Eve knew not
that Adam wanted to know her
One day, Adam saith
"Eve, let's know"
She saith no
and he taketh it as yes
Verily, before she knew it
they were knowing
They knew and knew
until all was known
Then Adam saith unto Eve
"Woman, thou triest to slay me
I crave sleep
I hunger for sustenance"
Eve saith unto Adam
"Nay, let us know more
Thou hast awakened knowledge
and filled it with terrible desire"
Thus Adam knew Eve
and she conceived
