strawberries (Free verse) by BigB
When I think of you, I think strawberries. Succulent on the outside, Sour in the inside. Why? The roughness of your skin, Reminds me of the bumpy ride we had together. Your sweet red texture is but a facade, It only brings back the blood you shed. For me. I finally understand how strawberries can taste so good, They are dipped in sweet, creamy yoghurt. You and me, baby, Let's stick together.
