Sinistral Defenses (Free verse) by Scarlet_Raindrops x
Take this blood-covered feather, Wave it about in a beautiful manner. Creatures spawned from this majestic crime Have all come back to haunt me. My heart bleeds out to you. I feel the numbness coming on... Recognize the past mistakes That will put you where you belong. Drops of water caress your cheek Leaving scars of forgotten regrets. Eyelids sewn shut, You are blind to all that you exist for. If you could see me in the light, Would you desire me even more? Polish the mirrors... Reflection untainted, Suddenly turns black... As shards fall into you. Could you see me For what I really am? Or could you only see, That it will be I Who pulls the thread To unravel it all.
