my navaho conclusion (Free verse) by unknown^user
Things have just sped up I can hear it right now in the yells of the people living under my floor. When the smoke detectors go wild and the cheaters lose their edge I’ll bury my head in my hands and hold on to the end. I think there’s a snowstorm in arizona, on highway 89 I can be there in 15 hours and leave these jerks behind I’ll miss the sunrise, since I’m driving west and see the sky dressed in violet like pictures on road maps. I think there’s a snowstorm, in Arizona somewhere on highway 89 and there’s a couple, driving along with the wipers on, cursing the luck. I could be there in 15 hours, no stops drive all night, passing out slowly get there in time to watch the people wake up and their faces form the day as if God was painting pictures but God is just laughing because everything is moving too fast for anyone to get off now. But I could stay here another 15 hours and hope they hate me for cutting my hair while I’m going bald I could leave this horse ass town, I could forget that all this ever was, was a stop in a general direction. So mail me all the postcards and I’ll collect all the stamps maybe even try to use them again because you know I’m crazy like that
