Look Love (Free verse) by nothingtoanyone
I reach out and touch the endless dark. I breathe in the stars that give the light to the night. I look over the horizon to see the unreachable edge of ongoing wonder. I turn to you, just to find us a million miles a part. I stretch across the treetops, and roll down the mountains rocky hillside. I drink the oceans waters in one gulp, and I tie my hair with the kelp that lies on the sandy bottom. But reaching out to you seems further then fare. Embracing you would be like holding the rays of sun the shine from the golden sphere. Near imposable yes that it seems, but I wish to dream of it being just like a walk around the block. Well, shouldn't love be that simple…
