Stranded (Free verse) by Antares42
I find myself sitting on the side of the road Watching life pass me by. I don't know why I stopped For I can only cry. Which way leads to life I may never know Because I cannot figure out how to make myself go. No one else can understand how hypnotizing life can be when you stop to look I am alone here on the side of the road Watching it pass me by. I may be alone here Until the day I die.

Up the ladder: Chicken Tonight
Down the ladder: Rebel Wind

the concept is good, thought a bit over done, but your rhyme scheme and weak language ruin any chance of it being remotly poetic!
