Isn't It? (Free verse) by toward
isn't it funny how we live our lives for the transient opinions of strangers we must stay in sync with what they might think they're more important than any dangers isn't it a pity how we turn our backs on those who care for us most they're more obligation our loving relations such a nuisance to play the host isn't it a shame how our hope decays how our dreams fade into the distance we draw deep a sigh we bid them goodbye not offering even token resistance isn't it a drag how often we turn to our most cherished dream, escape our worries we'd banish our problems would vanish sheltering darkness before us, agape isn't it a pain how we can't sustain the loving light that would shine on our souls we can't find the drive though it might keep us alive it conflicts with our everyday goals isn't it weird how these troubles of ours spread in our lives like a cancer we must spend our time many more problems to find there's no time to search for answers isn't it a bother how time marches on no opportunity to catch our breath we meet new demands there's no time for plans no rest until we meet our death

Up the ladder: Sigh to e.e's Springtime
Down the ladder: Self Love
