The Cherub Bird's Love Song (Free verse) by RWAndersen
You have heard that once in a life the right one comes along. And when they do, deep inside you will know if you belong. With that in mind, you try to find, but then it all goes wrong. You have the ear, yet did not hear the Cherub Bird's Love Song. You have heard because it glistens does not mean it is gold. And when it does, look again, don't believe all that you are told. With that in mind, you try to find, but then it all goes cold. You have the ear, yet will you hear, before you become more old? You have heard You must know love to know what it is to hate. And when you do, someone new, You must think of past mistakes. With that in mind, you try to find, but then you start to rate. You have the ear, and think you hear, You hope it's not too late. See once before, though long ago, you had what you hope to find. And now you see, it was me, that you always had in mind. You made your mind, to try and find, some way to renew that bind. You wait in fear, You hope to hear, for You my heart is still kind. Give me your ear, remove your fear, my love for you has not died. Oh if you do, love me too, to ourselves we both have lied. Bless peace of mind, You are my find, forget all the times you cried. Hear of my tears, these last three years, You are all I should have tried. Lets give ourselves once more to each other. Babe, again be my Friend, Mate and Lover. True, we missed six, seven and eight, We both realize that mistake. Together again, for now and forever.

Too long...didnt captivate me, poems are like hard core pornography, the cum shot must be looming, otherwise you suspect foul play....
