Something Caught My Eye (Free verse) by x311
It was a day like almost any other Except for one huge thing I met someone who could be everything You may think she is only a girl But she is so much more to me A butterfly fluttering free through the air Beauty like none that this world has ever seen She melted my hardened heart with her angelic voice Comfort, laughter, and cheer all flowed from her smile A radiant smile, as bright as the sun on a cloudless day Every waking moment I can only see her face I fall asleep to thoughts of her whispering so softly And my dreams are filled only with images of her A body and face of a goddess she possesses Her hair flowing like freshly spun silk, shimmering in the sun And her skin glistened like liquid gold Truly, she is one of God's finest creations And to think, I met her on a day like any other

How can it be a day like any other when you meet such a hottie? "A body and face of a goddess she possesses" is a little much. If you presented more images and less telling, you might have a poem in here.

i guess what i was trying to go for was that there are wonderful, beautiful things to see every day--any day. It's just a matter of seeing it and taking note.
