Fallout Shelter (Free verse) by gregg333
Of all the blank pages here I picked the one with your imaginary image Engraved upon it Maybe a secret smile Sideways glance Penetrating , higher energy Like radioactivity, invisible and potent Like the moment Suspended above touch A truth encoded, bewildering As real as the constellations As far Unspoken in it's opaque shell Moments like a tiger's face in the jungle Real and imagined Camouflaged, crouched Wait for purpose Moments from encrypted conversations In the bunkers of our souls

Up the ladder: Good-Bye
